Meg Eades Equine
Hi, my name is Meg. I am a positive reinforcement coach, trainer, and writer, and lifelong horse friend. From riding and training auction ponies as a child, to exercising racehorses in my teens, then diving into the sport horse world, natural horsemanship, and eventually shifting to positive reinforcement in the early 2000’s, my quest has been to learn kinder, more ethical, and more compassionate ways to communicate and partner with horses.
I have applied R+ training with hundreds of horses over the past twenty years - from severely traumatized rescue horses and not yet tame mustangs, to upper level competition horses, to back yard companions. I have studied bodywork, functional movement, nervous system regulation, and trauma recovery. And I work with a broad range of human clients - from first time horse owners to equine professionals - to achieve a common goal; helping horses thrive physically and emotionally in their life with humans.
My work is science based (behavior/learning theory and functional anatomy/movement), trauma informed, intuitive, and practical. Whether you are already applying positive reinforcement and excited to keep learning, or dreaming of a mutually enjoyable collaboration with horses and not yet sure where to start, I would love to hear from you! I would love to support you and your horses on your journey to deeper connection, true friendship, and moving together in a way that strengthens body and spirit.
